This real life English conversation is a chance meeting between two old friends, Sierra and Austin, who haven’t seen each other in a while.

Sierra: It’s been so long, how are you? Austin: I’m doing great, how about you? Sierra: So well. I am a teacher now. Austin: No way, what school? Sierra: Can you believe I’m at the one we went to, right down the street from my house? Austin: That’s amazing, you can easily bike or walk there. It’s only a minute away. Sierra: I know. The students are great. My mother and father moved away, so I bought their old house. Austin: Wow. That worked out. Sierra: Yes. What are you up to? Austin: I work at a huge American company. We produce parts for planes and trains. Sierra: Wow, so there must be a lot of big machines there. Austin: Exactly. We produce a thousand pieces every week. Sierra: Well I would love to talk more over dinner. Austin: Me too, perhaps tomorrow night? Sierra: Sounds good.
